Lightning Sign Hutchinson

Tampa, FL -- (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Lightning signed free agent defenseman Andrew Hutchinson to a two-year contract on Wednesday.

Hutchinson, 28, spent last season with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League and recorded 18 goals and 64 points. He led all AHL defenseman in points and assists.

He has appeared in 95 games in the NHL, 18 with Nashville and the remainder with Carolina, and has 10 goals and 23 assists.
