NHL Game Summary - Detroit At Atlanta

Atlanta, GA -- (Sports Network) - Mikael Samuelsson had two goals and an assist to lead the Detroit Red Wings past the Atlanta Thrashers, 4-1, in preseason action.

Henrik Zetterberg also lit the lamp and added two helpers for the Red Wings. Johan Franzen scored for Detroit while Chris Osgood stopped 25-of-26 shots.

Erik Christensen scored the lone tally for Atlanta. Kari Lehtonen stopped 29- of-32 shots in defeat.
