Situated in the lobby of the Orlando World Center Marriott, Ristorante Tuscany serves up a scrumptious variety of fares that would please the pickiest of Italians stepping directly off a plane from their homeland.

From the antipasti to the finishing sweets, Chef Alexander Rodriguez's offerings are made from scratch daily using the freshest ingredients. He minimizes the number of items within each dish to bring out the natural flavors of the food.

Each course tempted our taste buds more than the one before, starting and ending with a trio of delectable delights. The Veal Osso Buco separated at the touch of the utensil after being roasted for four hours in its savory juices. And the ravioli — oh, the ravioli. The restaurant features two choices of the homemade pasta that are equally delicious.

Ristorante Tuscany offers a truly unique antipasti called Burrata, an imported mozzarella cheese surrounding cream cheese made from the same milk. Served atop a slice of crostini, the taste is rich, smooth and almost sinful.

Residents in South Orlando don’t have to travel far for a meal at Ristorante Tuscany. For those of us who live farther north, open your schedule for an evening and make the drive. With its outstanding service, delicious food and inviting atmosphere, you'll be glad you did.
