Toyota and Daytona International Speedway team up for fans!

Are you ready for the Daytona 500? Here at Toyota of Orlando we’re getting pretty revved up – the race is coming up next weekend and we’re ready to see the drivers hit the track! However, this year we’re a little more excited than usual… it’s been officially announced that starting in 2015, Toyota will team up with the Daytona International Speedway to take fan experiences to a whole new level!

Toyota will partner to take the Daytona 500 to the next level!

You heard right – this new Toyota partnership will result in DAYTONA Rising, which will be the ultimate fan experience for race fans in Central Florida. When Toyota is done with the speedway, it’ll be a world-class race facility with absolutely incredible amenities. Our new Toyota dealership in Orlando can’t wait for this agreement to kick off and for the project to get started!

What’s up and coming for the Daytona International Speedway?

This new Toyota partnership will kick off in 2015 as noted, and should span about 11 years for the entire project to get completed. If you’re a fan of racing, then you should get ready for all the new upgrades coming to your favorite local track! Here are some of the highlights that our Orlando Toyota dealership has been able to glean from the news:

  • A new entry will be added to the Speedway – it’ll be over 2,000 square feet and offer a new venue for race fans to explore and relax in before the drivers hit the track.
  • A new World of Racing Fan Zone will also be added to Daytona International Speedway. This unbelievable venue will overlook the start/finish line of the track and will be the size of about two football fields, so fans will have plenty of time to socialize, eat, drink, and shop before the race starts. It’ll also be a place to brush up on your Daytona International Speedway history with cool new exhibits and displays all over the place!
  • Speaking of food and drink, Toyota is also going to enhance that aspect of the Daytona 500 experience! You’ll find all-new restaurants, bars, and stores integrated into the design, with huge video screens strategically placed around to ensure you can keep your eyes on the track!
  • This new Toyota partnership will also result in Toyota having the pace car spot (this is the car that leads the pack when they need to slow, such as in the case of an accident or debris on the track that needs to be cleared).

We can’t wait for this new Toyota partnership to kick off next year, and our Orlando Toyota dealership is extremely excited to see all the changes coming to our favorite speedway. Stay tuned and we’ll continue to keep you posted on any news that heads our way!

We may not have cars that are going to hit the track at the Daytona International Speedway anytime soon, but we DO have a large selection of new Toyota in Orlando that can get you over to the coast safely and efficiently if you decide to spend a day at the races.
