Wheel of Savings 2008

OFFICIAL RULES

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS SPONSORED AND OPERATED BY WFTV, INC. D/B/A TELEVISION STATION WFTV.


  2. Eligibility. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the Wheel of Savings (the "Sweepstakes") is open to Central Florida residents (who reside in the counties of Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Brevard, Lake, Marion, Sumter, Volusia or Polk), 21 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of WFTV, Inc. ("Sponsor"), David Maus Toyota, and each of their respective affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.


  3. How To Enter. The Sweepstakes will begin at 09:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) on Monday, January 7, 2008 and end at 5:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on November 31, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period").

    Internet Entry: Enter by visiting the Wheel of Savings official registration page on the WFTV.com website at www.wftv.com, completing all of the required information and following all instructions. Submit your entry by clicking on the "SEND" button. Enter as often as you like provided that multiple entries by means of software generated or other automated processes will be disregarded.

    Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsor. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned.


  4. Winner Selection. One (1) Monthly Prize Winner will be selected no later than the 15th day of each month in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the months of January 2008 through November 2008. Winners will be notified by telephone on or about the 15th of each month for each monthly drawing. Limit one monthly prize per person. Each monthly prizewinner must be available on the third Friday of the month (actual date may vary due to production availability) they are selected to participate in a taped segment at David Maus Toyota, 1160 Rinehart Road Sanford, FL 32771, in which the winner will spin the "Wheel of Savings" prize wheel to determine their prize. Winners of all prizes must be 18 years of age and sign a release form; additionally the grand prizewinner must present a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and must have approved credit.


  5. Prizes and Odds. Each monthly prizewinner will spin the "Wheel of Savings" for one the following prizes:

    • WFTV-9 Wild Card (ARV minimum $ 50) Wild card prize will vary from month to month and may include event tickets or certificates etc.
    • WFTV-9 Television (ARV minimum $200)
    • Wet and Wild Tickets (AVR minimum $ 50)
    • $1000 Cash (ARV $1,000)
    • $100 Cash (ARV $100)
    • Two (2) Year supply of oil changes (maximum of 8 oil changes) (ARV minimum $120)
    • Complete automobile detail (ARV minimum $100)
    • 5K, 45K or 75K Service package (ARV $200)
    • $200 in parts and accessories (ARV $200)
    • Set of four (4) tires (ARV minimum $300)
    • Parts boutique bucket (ARV $100)

    The twelve (11) monthly prizewinners (January 2008 through November 2008) will be entered into a random drawing to take place no later than December 18, 2007 to win one (1) 12-month lease of a 2008 Toyota Yaris 4- door sedan. (Lease value: $3,000, based on a value of $250.00 per month for 12 months) from David Maus Toyota. Prize is subject to sponsors' restrictions, and as a condition of winning, the winner agrees to these restrictions as well as additional restrictions and/or requirements as outlined in the official lease agreement. Prize is non-transferable and no prize substitutions or cash equivalents will be allowed. Except that prize is subject to availability and WFTV reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component of equal or greater value. The winner must show drivers liscence and proof of insurance in order to receive the grand prize. Odds of winning the monthly prize drawing depend on the number of eligible entries received. Odds of monthly winner spinning a Wild Card prize are 1 in 6. Odds of spinning any of the other Wheel of Savings prizes are 1 in 11. Odds of winning the Grand Prize are 1 in 11. Winner will receive a 1099 form for grand prize and 1,000 cash prize.


  6. Winner Notification and Acceptance. Winners will be notified by telephone on or about the 15th of each month for each monthly drawing. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) days of date of sender's postmark. Failure to timely sign and return the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner's consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation the Internet, or further compensation. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor. For prizewinners list (available after December 31, 2008) or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Wheel of Savings, "Winners List Request" or "Official Rules Request" (as applicable), 490 East South Street, Orlando, FL 32801.


  7. Participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.


  8. Construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.


  9. Sponsor. The Wheel of Savings is sponsored by WFTV, Inc. The decisions of Sponsor and Sweepstakes judges regarding the selection of winners, the interpretation of these Official Rules and all other aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Sweepstakes. The sponsor reserves the right to modify these official rules.
