Fake Dwight Howard Twitter Account Discovered

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A fake twitter account for Orlando Magic player Dwight Howard was still up and running Wednesday afternoon.

Magic officials told Eyewitness News the account is old and they are always looking for fake accounts. Twitter also verifies celebrity accounts.

The fake account has only 19,000 followers, while Howard's real account has more than 1 million.

The account was discovered when a concerned fan e-mailed officials. On his real twitter account, Howard thanked fans for looking out for him.
