Lightning Face Caps In D.C.

The Tampa Bay Lightning seek their fourth straight win tonight when they visit the Washington Capitals at the MCI Center.

Richards has a six-game point streak intact, tallying two goals and five assists during the run.

The Lightning will host New Jersey on Friday to open a six-game homestand.

Washington, meanwhile, is 2-5 in its last seven tries, on the heels of its first winning streak. On Tuesday the Caps dropped a 5-4 tilt in Pittsburgh, as rookie sensations Alexander Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby met for the first time in an NHL game.
