Gators pad offensive line on signing day

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators 24-man recruiting class included five athletes from Central Florida.

Three of the five are big uglies, West Orange offensive lineman Stone Forsythe is already enrolled, but drove back down to be part of the National Signing Day ceremony with the rest of the Warriors.

Forsythe will be blocking up front with Mount Dora's Brett Heggie, who as an Under Armour All-American, and Cocoa's Jawaan Taylor

Taylor's Tigers teammate Chauncey Gardner is also already enrolled at UF.

The Gators had 12 early enrollees. The most important of that bunch is four-star quarterback Feleipe Franks who played in the 5A state championship game at the Citrus Bowl in December.
