CINCINNATI - The Orlando Solar Bears fired 28 shots on goal but could not solve Cincinnati Cyclones goaltender Zoltan Hetenyi in a 4-0 loss to the Cincinnati Cyclones at U.S. Bank Arena on Wednesday night.
The Cyclones came out firing in the first period, blasting 13 shots on goal during the opening frame. Halfway through the first period, G John Curry made an incredible glove save to keep the game scoreless, but Cincinnati eventually struck to take a 1-0 lead. A shot from D Taylor Ellington was stopped by Curry, but RW Mathiue Aubin pounced on the rebound with 3:11 left in the period for the lone goal of the opening frame.

The period ended with Cincinnati holding the 3-0 advantage.
