Magic trade Victor Oladipo, two others for OKC's Serge Ibaka

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Magic traded guard Victor Oladipo and two other players for Oklahoma City forward Serge Ibaka.

Orlando took Domantas Sabonis — the son of Basketball Hall of Famer Arvydas Sabonis — with the No. 11 pick on Thursday night, but Sabonis is part of the trade. The Magic also sent forward Ersan Ilyasova to Oklahoma City.

Ibaka provides the Magic a defensive presence they've been lacking since Dwight Howard left Orlando. Ibaka has been named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team three times. He also led the NBA in blocks from 2010 to 2014.

Magic general manager Rob Hennigan praised Ibaka in a press release, "Serge is a young veteran who brings tremendous athleticism and toughness to our front court. His tireless work ethic and wealth of playoff experience will help enhance our culture and roster. We thank Victor (Oladipo) for all of his contributions both on the court and in the community. We wish him and Ersan (Ilyasova) the best of luck in the future."
