I joined the Eyewitness News team in July, 2007.

Before Orlando, I worked at KXLY in Spokane, Washington. While at KXLY, I walked the red carpet at the Academy Awards, tracked down an international fugitive, and flew with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

I graduated from the University of California in Santa Barbara with degrees in Communication, Political Science and a minor in History. I started my career at KCOY in Santa Maria, California. During my time on California's central coast, I covered the Michael Jackson trial, Arnold Schwarzenegger's rise to power and I was recognized by the Associated Press for nearly being arrested while covering a prison riot.

I've been honored with two Edward R. Murrow Awards and an Emmy nomination. My reporting has also been recognized by The Society of Professional Journalists. I credit my parents, both former journalists, for the "ink in my blood" and my passion for journalism.
