David Dean
I joined the Eyewitness News Team in August of 2007 as the traffic reporter. I genuinely enjoy helping get you to work on time since one of my biggest pet peeves to be late! I have about 49 other pet peeves that you're welcome to ask me about if you're interested!I graduated from Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow Communication Program with my BA in Communication while specializing in Broadcasting and Journalism. I also received a minor in Sociology, which helps me understand the group dynamic of a traffic jam!I'm originally from Washington State, although I love Central Florida. My first experience here came as an intern on Walt Disney World's college program. I love watching my Seattle Mariners since I'm an enormous baseball fan, and you'll also find me cheering on my Washington Huskies and the Seattle Seahawks.I started in radio here in Orlando before moving to Chicago and Los Angeles with Metro Networks. When I heard of the opportunity with Eyewitness News Daybreak, I packed up from California and moved right on back to start my television career. You can hear me on Mix 105.1 on the weekends and you'll probably see me out jogging or playing baseball around town! Please email me if you'd like my personal advice on how to get to work on time! I'm also always looking for new ways to label traffic situations. "Lookie-Lous" and "Pay to wait on the 4-0-8" are only original for a little while!Copyright 2008 by wftv.com. All rights reserved.
