I joined WFTV in October of 2002 as a General Assignment Reporter. My reports air every weekday morning on Channel 9 Eyewitness News Daybreak from 5:00 to 7:00am, on WRDQ from 7:00 to 8:30am, at noon, and in the early evening newscasts.Unlike many people, I don't mind waking up at three o'clock every morning to go to work. I love the fast-paced environment of the morning show. It often sets the tone for the rest of the news day.I graduated from Pacific Union College, earning a degree in Business Administration. Then, in 1995, I attended Stanford University to pursue my childhood dream of being a television reporter.Since then, I've traveled on assignment to Bosnia, Cuba, Germany, Hungary, Mexico and Russia. My experience is unique in that I have worked in both English and Spanish television news. My most recent stint as a TV reporter was with Telemundo in Los Angeles. Before joining channel 9, I also worked as a field producer for CBS's The Early Show and filed live radio reports for KFWB News in Los Angeles.I grew up in East L.A. but now call Orlando home.
