I grew up in Connecticut and Virginia and always loved the weather. In 1985, Hurricane Gloria triggered my serious interest in weather. Currently I am assigned to Eyewitness News Daybreak on WFTV, as well as Eyewitness News This Morning on WRDQ, Central Florida's TV 27, Brighthouse Channel 10.I graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Geography. I teamed up with my professor and published two studies on hurricanes and their impact on increased precipitation in the Eastern United States. I then went on to obtain a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. My career started at the ABC affiliate in Salisbury, MD, and then I was able to enjoy the mountains at the ABC affiliate in Charleston, WV. I have earned American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association Seals of Approval for weathercasting. My Connecticut roots (and family influence!) made me a big fan of the New York Yankees and U-Conn basketball. Of course I also support my Villanova Wildcats! My wife Aimee and I live in Orlando. We spend our free time searching for the best thin crust pizza in the city and would appreciate any suggestions!
