Radwanska Moves On In Stockholm

Stockholm, Sweden (Sports Network) - Top-seeded and defending Stockholm champion Agnieszka Radwanska advanced to the semifinals of the $145,000 Nordic Light Open tennis tournament on Friday.

Radwanska's opponent, France's Camille Pin, retired trailing 1-0 in the second set after the defending champ took the first set, 6-2.

Fourth-seeded Dane Caroline Wozniacki continued her run with a 6-1, 6-3 win over fifth-seeded Anabel Medina Garrigues of Spain, and third-seeded Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik cruised past another Spanish native, Virginia Ruano Pascual, 6-2, 6-0.

Rounding out the winners in Friday's quarterfinals was Russian Vera Dushevina, who lost to Radwanska in last year's finale here. Dushevina rolled past Czech Iveta Benesova, 6-3, 6-3.

This week's titlist will take home $22,925.
