Saturday, August 2, 2008
Stockholm, Sweden -- (Sports Network) - Rain caused the postponement of Saturday's semifinals of the $145,000 Nordic Light Open. The wet conditions mean top-seeded and defending Stockholm champion Agnieszka Radwanska could be forced to play two matches on Sunday, if she advances to the final. Radwanska beat France's Camille Pin on Friday and will take on fourth-seeded Dane Caroline Wozniacki in the semifinals. The other semifinal will have Russian Vera Dushevina, who lost to Radwanska in last year's finale, battling Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik.
