VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Troopers responded to a fatal crash in Volusia County Wednesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the crash happened at about 7 a.m. on US-17 and Baxter Street, and it involved two pedestrians and a vehicle.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to Florida Hospital DeLand, troopers said.
The names of those involved and the circumstances surrounding the crash have not been released.
