Matt Criswell owns the nearby Weather Shield Roofing Group.
Criswell said he believes the car crashed through the fence, hit his company’s building, and then backed up before getting stuck in the ditch and hitting a water pipe.
The roofing business’ surveillance camera captured a man running across the lot, but it is unknown whether the man is a victim or the gunman.
"Unfortunately, this (is) kind of the norm for Central Florida," Criswell said. "You just have to sort through the cards and keep moving forward."
Investigators said the gunman and the victims know one another. They haven't released a motive for the shooting.
“We've got a little mess to clean up here. Get the place secured. We've got to get our water turned back on, and obviously, get insurance out to take a look at the building,” Criswell said.
The gunman remains at large. The names of those involved have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
