ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Crews worked for hours cleaning up the roadway after a tractor-trailer carrying a crane toppled over, blocking southb lanes of State Road 417 Tuesday morning near Curry Ford Road.
Reports of the fallen crane came in around 4 a.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said a tire on the truck carrying the crane blew out, which caused the driver to lose control and topple over.
All lanes of the road reopened just before 7 a.m.
Troopers said the driver, David Springstun, is OK.
