Video: Lanes reopen after train, box truck collide in Kissimmee

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A box truck and a train collided Friday in Kissimmee, authorities said.

US 192 (Vine Street) was shut down between Michigan Avenue and Main Street, because of the crash, but police said the west lanes of Vine Street have since reopened. However, police said only one east lane is open because of repairs.

While there were no injuries reported, police said the concern is that some power lines were down.

Police said the train clipped the back end of the truck.

Authorities have neither released the name of the driver nor said whether charges will be filed against him.

Further information on whether the downed power lines have affected homes in the area has not been released.
