Roads reopen after unattended suitcases left on Curry Ford and Conway

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two suitcases that fell off the back of a truck and were left in the median caused Curry Ford and Conway roads to close during Monday evening’s rush hour, but the roads have since reopened, Orlando police said.

A passer-by told police Monday afternoon that he or she saw two unattended suitcases, police said.

Heavy rain in the area made it difficult for crews to get a good look at the items.

Police urged drivers to seek a different route as the investigation and conditions prompted heavy traffic in the area.
