ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol has reopened the Beachline after smoke from a brush fire caused troopers to partially close the highway Tuesday morning in Orange and Brevard counties.
Troopers said they closed State Road 528 from State Road 520 in east Orange County to Interstate 95 in Cocoa due to visibility issues.
Motorists are still being asked to use caution while driving through the area, FHP said.
Thank you Central Florida for your amazing patience this morning with our closure of SR528. Your safety is our #1 priority. pic.twitter.com/72IWWhVrEv
