Disney Renovating Fort Wilderness Resort In Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Bigger, bulkier RVs are pushing Disney to renovate much of its Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

RVs are getting longer and many feature additions that slide out to make for larger rooms inside. So Disney is making its concrete RV pads at Fort Wilderness larger to accommodate the bigger mobile homes.The new pads part of an extensive renovation of the resort. Disney has also added new furniture, carpeting and other amenities to the cabins at Fort Wilderness.There are also plans to add a themed water slide, hot tub and children's wet area to the pool.
