Universal Orlando Raising Ticket Prices

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Universal Orlando has increased the cost of a one-day ticket to its Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure theme parks. Prices have jumped immediately to $75.00 a ticket. That's a $4.00 increase.

A Universal spokesperson says the company is raising prices in part because of the new attractions it has added.The Simpsons ride opened earlier this year and a Harry Potter attraction is scheduled to open in 2010.Last week, Disney increased its ticket prices as well.
