Walmart workers stage Black Friday walkout, protesting conditions
Shoppers at local Wal-Mart stores may have to cross a picket line to take advantage of all those Black Friday deals.
Union-backed groups OUR Walmart and Making Change at Wal-Mart said they expected thousands of workers nationwide to participate in post-Thanksgiving protests.
Several dozen protesters were walking up and down with picket signs outside the Walmart in Duarte. They began gathering at about 5 a.m.
