ORLANDO, Fla. — Nota en español: Se forma la tormenta tropical Nana
Tropical Storm Omar officially named on Tuesday afternoon by the National Hurricane Center. This was the same system that was labeled as a tropical depression on Monday. Conditions become more favorable for the system to intensify, now with maximum sustained winds at 40 mph. It will continue to move mainly to the east-northeast as a tropical storm for the next 24 hours. By Wednesday evening the system will once again weaken as it moves over the north-central Atlantic.
