he new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were warmly welcomed by Canadians on their first day touring the country, being lavished with hearty approbation and delicate flowers.
William took the podium outside of Rideau Hall in Ottawa on Thursday, accompanied by the Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Governor General David Johnston, to express his appreciation to the crowd that gathered to receive the royal couple.
