Temperatures are crashing tonight across central Florida with a mainly clear sky and light wind. By daybreak, we'll wake up to temperatures in the 40s for most of the area -- in fact, for many of us, it'll be the coldest morning of the season. So far, the coldest morning was on back on November 12 when the temperature dropped to 48 in Orlando. The overnight low tonight should get down to 47 at OIA (as I write this, it's already 53!).

If that's not cold enough for you, an upper level disturbance -- a secondary cold front, if you will -- moves through the area Wednesday. You won't notice this by way of what you see in the sky though; we might squeeze out a few high clouds but that'll be about it. There will be a chill in the air Wednesday, though, with highs in the low to mid 60s -- some 5 degrees cooler than what we felt on Tuesday. That sets the stage for what will be, without a doubt, the coldest night of the season to  so far.

Thursday will start with lots of 30s (and patchy frost!) northwest of Orlando. Into the City Beautiful itself, we'll drop to a low of 44! A warm up begins anew by Thursday afternoon, as temperatures climb back toward 70 degrees.
