What a difference a day makes! Our first "cold" front wasn't really cold at all -- Wednesday's front moved through with rain but temperatures were right back in the mid to upper 70s behind it on Thursday. While you were sleeping early Friday morning, another front came through without much fanfare -- just some clouds. Its arrival, though, was heradled by temperatures some 20 degrees colder this afternoon than they were Thursday! In fact, we reached today's high of 64 at about 2:15 this morning; throughout the afternoon, temperatures were mainyl in the 50s throughout central Florida.

With the cold front to our south, temperatures are going to be cold tonight. In fact, most areas north of I-4 will drop into the 30s overnight with a couple of hours of freezing temperatures possible in Marion and Sumter Counties. Into the metro, expect lows near 40 in Orlando, but it will feel like its in the 30s with the wind. Cloud cover -- mainly high cirrus clouds -- will limit the temperature fall some overnight; without the clouds, we'd be looking at more than a light freeze across our northwest counties. The wind will stay up enough tonight, too, to prevent any frost from forming in most locations.

Saturday will be chilly with decreasing clouds from north to south. Most areas will stay in the 50s for highs. With a light wind, high pressure overhead, and a clear sky Saturday night, expect temperatures to be a couple of degrees colder to start Sunday. Also, with the wind so light, patchy frost will be possible as well. By Sunday afternoon, temperatures will recover into the 60s with lots of sunshine.

Have a great weekend!
