January as a whole (so far) has been on the warm side. All but two days have been above average. That means to date, 13 of the first 15 days were warmer than normal. But what's more impressive was how far above average we were. Temperatures climbed into the 80s for now 8 straight days, but I am forecasting more 80s for our Wednesday, so when all is said and done, our run of 80s will be 9 consecutive days. This long stretch of 80s is not normal, so I did some digging. I went back and looked at daytime highs for the month of January spanning back 15 years, and this is what I came up with...
