The strong cold front that triggered severe storms and a deadly tornado in Georgia has blown through central Florida. It moved in overnight with scattered showers that ended early this morning. We dried out quickly but now, we're feeling the cool down. Daytime highs will not make it out of the 50s and 60s today. Winds from the south that helped to drive our temperatures into the 80s Wednesday are now coming in from the north northwest. The shift in wind direction will usher in the much colder air through tonight and Friday. Lows will dip into the 30s and 40s with areas of frost, mainly north and west of Orlando. Highs are back to the 60s on Friday. Finally as we head into this weekend we will return to more seasonal levels with highs in the lower 70s.
