Helpful Hints For Outdoor Weddings
Outdoor weddings give the couple two choices, with a tent, or without a tent (weather permitting). If the Bride and Groom do not like the prospect of a tent, or simply can not afford a tent in their budget, then make sure to set the wedding date for the early spring. The spring time is the best time for cool weather.
When you choose to use a tent you greatly increase the choices for the décor/theme you can have.
A tent with a gathered liner, leg drapes, crystal chandeliers, accent lighting, colored up lights, air conditioning (summer months), dance floor, can set the mood for an elegant and affordable wedding reception. Especially when the hotels can be very expensive, and you have to use their caterer, not the one of your choice.
Talk with the rental company about everything you will want in the tent. This is the only way the rental company representative can give you an accurate quote on the size of the tent you will need. At Rentaland, we contact the Caterer, D.J. Florist, and anyone else that will be involved in the items going inside the tent to make sure there will be plenty of room for everything. A wedding can be a disaster if the tent is too small. Also, money can be wasted if the tent is too large. Make sure you have confidence in your rental company to provide you with a realistic quote.
Will the rental company you are interviewing provide a complete setup of all rental items and decorations (assuming the rental company does decorations)?
If they do not you might look at another company. It is always best to get as much service as possible from one company. This will help prevent confusion on the wedding day, and the number of companies you will have to interview before deciding on who will be the lucky ones to be involved in your wedding.
