Lisa Leslie added 14 points and 10 rebounds, while DeLisha Milton had 15 points for the Sparks, who came in having lost two straight. No other player for the Sparks reached double figures in scoring, but Los Angeles hung on by forcing 20 turnovers and holding San Antonio to 19-of-49 shooting.

Becky Hammon scored 21 points but made just 1-of-8 three-pointers for the Silver Stars, who had a seven-game win streak halted. Ann Wauters chipped in with 18 points and eight boards. San Antonio made just 2-of-15 from beyond the arc.
