Houston, TX -- (Sports Network) - Tina Thompson scored 25 points and hauled in five rebounds, while Tamecka Dixon had 22 and five, as the Houston Comets defeated the Minnesota Lynx, 96-88, at Reliant Arena.

Sancho Lyttle poured in 16 points and grabbed 18 boards for the Comets, who snapped a three-game losing streak. Hamchetou Maiga-Ba ended with 14 points in a winning effort.

Candice Wiggins scored a game-high 27 points for the Lynx, who have dropped five of seven. Seimone Augustus had 17 points and Vanessa Hayden 14 in defeat.
