Wine, Women & Shoes Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — This year, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida’s 10th Annual Wine Women & Shoes Orlando presented by Darden Restaurants, Inc. is going to be like no other Wine Women & Shoes you’ve ever experienced – as we go virtual Monday, April 13th through Saturday, April 18th!

This year may be a lot different than what we’re used to for Wine Women & Shoes Orlando, but is probably the most important to date. Due to Coronavirus, there is an extremely heightened need in our community. Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida has seen a 70% – 90% increase in searches for food assistance, and has more than doubled distribution to 200,000 – 300,000 meals every single day. We could not do this without the kindness and generosity of our community.

While we may not be able to see each other in person this year, we still have the opportunity to make an incredible impact on so many lives, and provide even more meals to those who need it most. Our community needs help now more than ever… but at Second Harvest we know: Not all heroes wear capes… some wear fabulous shoes!

We’ll have something fun for you every single day. Be sure to follow us on social media at www.facebook.com/wwsorlando, and register for free, so you don’t miss a thing! We’re going to miss seeing everyone in person, but are excited to see your dresses, wine selections and shoes online! Be sure to share and tag us at @wwsorlando or #wwsorl.

Be sure to put on your favorite dress and shoes, pour yourself a glass of wine, and tune into Facebook Live on Saturday, April 18th at 2:00pm for our program!

We can’t thank all of our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and guests enough for supporting Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Wine Women and Shoes Orlando over the last 10 years. Because of you all, over 7.5 million meals have been provided to children, families, and seniors in our community. We know we can bring even more light and hope to our community this year in this great time of need.

Looking forward to seeing you all virtually for the best weeklong happy hour there ever was – all while changing lives.
