Brown’s Harbor: A place that helps young adults who have aged out foster care

ORLANDO, Fla. — Today in our forever family series Channel 9 Anchor Martha Sugalski talked with some child advocates that have stepped up to help those who have aged out of foster care.

Brown’s Harbor provides supportive housing for young adults that have aged out of the system. At Brown’s Harbor House the young adults learn about budgeting, cooking, applying to jobs, and more. They have a meeting with a success coach weekly, and have a safe place to stay to learn life skills to help them succeed in the future.
