Single foster mom opens home to children during the Coronavirus pandemic

ORLANDO, Fla. — Channel 9 Anchor Martha Sugalski talked with a foster mom, Sara, who is providing temporary care for children during the pandemic.

Many kids in the Foster Care System need consistency, so Sara and the children put together a school like schedule. Their daily schedule includes active breaks, school work, and an afternoon walk where they get to open up. Sara also schedules online meetings with the kids’ birth Mom, so they can keep each other up to date during this time.
