• 2 Arrested, Accused Of Burglarizing Condos

    BREVARD COUNTY, Fla.,None - Two men were arrested on Sunday after police said they burglarized a Satellite Beach condo.

    Police responded to a 911 call that two white men were looking into cars parked in the Paradise Beach Club condominium parking lot.

    The caller told police that one of the men appeared to be acting as a lookout, while the second man looked into cars and tried to open door handles. Then, one of the two men entered the balcony or exterior walkway of the building and was seen going from door to door on the second and third floors.

    When police arrived they arrested Steven Casey for loitering and prowling. Police were unable to find the second suspect.

    After Casey made remarks during the booking process, a K-9 officer returned to the condos to search for the second suspect.

    Casey was identified as doing handiwork in the past for some of the condo residents, according to police.

    The officer found the second suspect, Christopher Rowland, towing a safe stolen from the condo’s business office down A1A on a handcart.

    Rowland has been charged with grand theft, as a principal in the first-degree burglary, loitering and prowling. Rowland’s bond was set at $7,500. Casey has been charged with burglary, grand theft, criminal mischief and loitering and prowling. Casey’s bond was set at $9,500.
