Orange County Public Schools holding a back-to-school safety press conference Monday morning

ORLANDO, Fla — With two days left before many around central Florida return to school on Aug. 10, Orange County Public Schools will hold a press conference Monday at 10 a.m regarding safety updates.

Along with leadership from the district, Orange County Sheriff John Mina and Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith will be in attendance.

The district says they have important information and want to give students and families safety updates for the beginning of school on Aug. 10.

In a release, OCPS says they will also provide updates on transportation and meal programs for this coming school year.
