DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Daytona Beach Police Department held a press conference early Saturday morning to announce the arrest of Othal Wallace in a rural area of DeKalb County, Georgia.
Daytona Beach police said Othal Wallace was hiding in a tree house in a wooded area of Dekalb County.
According to police, he was found with multiple weapons, ammunition and body armor. Law enforcement had been searching for Wallace since Wednesday after he shot Daytona Beach police officer Jason Raynor.
Officials across Central Florida having been weighing in about his capture.
