BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. - A Brevard County jury found Jeremiah Williams guilty on Tuesday of first-degree premeditated murder in the shooting death of his wife Yolanda.

Williams was found guilty of shooting his wife seven times in the parking of Parrish Medical Center in Titusville.

After the guilty verdict, jurors took a 15-minute break before the trial entered the sentencing phase. Williams was then sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The jury heard closing arguments Tuesday morning before deliberating the case. It was the second time Williams faced trial in connection with his wife’s slaying.

Last year, a judge declared a mistrial after the first jury couldn't reach a unanimous decision.
