10 arrested in Polk County pill mill bust

Investigators in Polk County arrested 10 people in an ongoing pill mill operation.

Officials said those arrested were either getting paid to fill fraudulent prescriptions or were going to different doctors within a short time period to obtain large amounts of pain pills.

In March, the same operation shut down an alleged pill mill in Winter Haven and resulted in eight arrests.
