Police believe the 2011 Ford Focus had pulled out of a shopping center parking lot and was attempting to cross over the southbound and northbound lanes of Wickham Road in an attempt to turn onto College View Drive.

The motorcycle collided with the right side of the car in the northbound lanes of Wickham Road, police said.

Investigators identified the driver of the motorcycle as Ralph Mazal, 62, of Melbourne and said his passenger was 52-year-old Mark South, also of Melbourne.
