Sanford police said they are investigating a shooting Friday that left two people hospitalized.
More than a dozen evidence markers lined Goldsboro Boulevard, showing the area where shots were fired.
Neither the names nor condition of those who were shot have been released.
Police said the shooting happened in the parking lot of the Green Store.
A resident told Channel 9 she heard about five gunshots between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Friday.
The shooting remains under investigation.
No other details were given.
