2 weeks of free rides for Orlando train commuters

ORLANDO, Fla. — Passengers will get to ride Orlando's new commuter train for free for two weeks when it debuts next month.

SunRail officials said Tuesday that in the first half of May, riders won't have to pay anything to ride the train.

The first phase of the Orlando area's first commuter train debuts on May 1.

The first phase will have 12 stations from Debary in Volusia County through downtown Orlando, ending at Sand Lake Road in Orange County's tourist district.
