3 arrested in Lake Mary shooting death

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of  a man earlier this month in Lake Mary, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said Joshua Geister, 22 and Patrick Casey, 23, both of Longwood were arrested, along with Jermaine Wesley, 20, of Sanford.

Investigators said the three are being charged in the shooting death of 19-year-old Larry Felton, Jr.

According to investigators, Wesley and the victim arranged to meet and buy marijuana from Geister and Casey at Pebble Creek Apartments in Lake Mary.

Investigators said while the four were in a vehicle Wesley and Felton robbed the other two at gunpoint.

When Wesley and Felton got into another car and began to drive away Geister fired several shots into Felton's car, killing him and wounding Wesley, investigators said.

Investigators said Wesley got out of the car and began running as Geister continued to shoot at him.

Deputies found Wesley hiding nearby. He was hospitalized and later released.

Initially the group claimed that they had met to discuss the sale of a four-wheeler posted on Craigslist, investigators said.

According to investigators, Geister is charged with second-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder. Casey is charged with felony murder and Wesley is charged with felony murder and armed robbery. All three also face drug charges.

The three are being held in the Seminole County Jail with no bond.
