• I-95 north reopens following crash

    VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. - Florida Highway Patrol troopers closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 just north of State Road 44 for about 30 minutes because of an accident late Tuesday morning.

    All of the southbound lanes remained open.

    According to FHP's traffic website the accident was a hit-and-run with injuries. There was no word on the extent of the injuries.

    Troopers reopened the lanes around 11:40 a.m.
