• Detectives: Accused child rapist could have more victims

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Eyewitness News has uncovered information that an Orange County rape suspect might have more victims.
Dinanath Rosa was accused of raping an 8-year-old in May. Now another victim has come forward after seeing the stories on Channel 9.
She spoke with Sheriff’s Office detectives, who learned there could even be a third victim.
Rosa has a history of run-ins with the law, but he is again suspected of committing one of the most horrific crimes imaginable.
Nearly 30 pages of court records accuse 33-year-old Rosa of raping a woman nearly a year ago.
The victim told detectives, "I woke up crying, trying to push this guy off me."
But the 32-year-old woman only came forward after Rosa was arrested in May for raping an 8-year-old girl.
"Many people wait because they are afraid," said Joellen Revell with the Victim Service Center of Central Florida.
Revell said the woman may have come forward now because her accused attacker was finally behind bars.
"It is very common for victims to after time realize 'what happened to me is actually an assault and it's serious,'" Revell said.
The 32-year-old victim believes Rosa also committed a sex crime with another girl, so she told detectives she came forward because "I don't want anyone else, adult or child, being touched or harmed."
Detectives have not been able to reach the third potential victim. Rosa has entered a plea of not guilty.
