Police: Naked man arrested after jogging, lounging in Altamonte neighborhood

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Horrified families called 911 Monday when they spotted a naked man jogging and lounging around their Seminole County neighborhood.

Police said Russell Dasaro was also roaming naked past children.

The incident occurred at the Villa Del Mar apartments in Altamonte Springs.

Authorities said Dasaro told police that  he was sightseeing and taking pictures.

Carmelo Anthony-Diaz, 6, was one of the first to witness the bizarre situation.

"I said, 'Mommy, there's a guy who has no pants, no shirt and no T-shirt on,'" Anthony-Diaz said.

Anthony-Diaz' mother said she was horrified.

"Scary, scary, scary, scary," she said.

That's when residents started calling 911.

Dispatcher: "OK, and what's going on?"

Caller: "There's somebody walking around without his underwear."

Dispatcher: "OK."

Caller: "It looks like he's on drugs or something."

One neighbor told police she saw the man jogging on the sidewalk naked, and another man said he spotted Dasaro lounging on an electrical transformer without pants.

"He was sitting there, not really moving much. Just stuff out and having fun, I guess," witness Jason LeBlanc said.

When police arrived, they found Dasaro sitting on an air-conditioning unit and wearing just a T-shirt.

Dasaro told police he wasn't on drugs, and that he just had two beers and was in the complex "taking pictures and sightseeing" even though he also lives there.

Police arrested him for indecent exposure and disorderly intoxication.

Dasaro posted bail and was released from jail, police said.

WFTV could not reach Dasaro for comment.
