UPDATE: Amber Alert resolved after 7-year-old Florida girl found safe

PALMETTO, Fla. — An Amber Alerted issued Saturday for a missing Florida girl has ended after she was found safe.

10:18 p.m. update:

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed Saturday night that an Amber Alert issued for a missing girl in Manatee County has been resolved.

FDLE said the girl has been found safe and the alert has been resolved.

No other details were released by law enforcement.\

A Missing Child Alert issued last month in Florida has been upgraded to an Amber Alert, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE said 7-year-old Ashley Ordaz was last seen in the area of the 15th Street West in Palmetto in Manatee County on Dec. 10.

An Amber Alert is issued after law enforcement determines that a child has been abducted and is in imminent danger.

Ashley is 4 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 52 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. FDLE said she may also have a small cut on her forehead.

Law enforcement said Ashley may be in the company of Jesus Flores-Gonzalez, who is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

FDLE said they may be traveling in a white Ford Expedition.
